BAC is headed by Professor M. Harunur Rashid Ph.D. Professor Rashid, a career academic and a professional education management specialist, has spent more than four decades in teaching at tertiary level in different universities at home and abroad. He was actively involved in multi-disciplinary research and educational management during his entire professional career. Starting as a lecturer of Accounting in the University of Dhaka in 1974, he has devoted his entire professional life in institution development, curriculum development, curriculum administration, oversight management, internal and external academic verification and in educational institution management. During his 38-years long tenure in Dhaka University he enjoyed the position of departmental chairman, hall provost, and heads of units at different levels. Professor Rashid served as the Vice Chancellor of the Presidency University Bangladesh for six years. Professor M. Harunur Rashid is a veteran in consultancy world with multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional expertise. Although his primary area of interest is public financial management, his area of expertise eventually extended to aid management, mutual accountability and development effectiveness. He has been working with international organizations like UNDP, UNFPA, DfID, USAID, DANIDA and World Bank for more than two decades. Professor Rashid has more than twenty publications in local and international journals and innumerable research reports for international organizations and Government of Bangladesh. Professor Rashid is a visionary and has the right aptitude to materialize BAC vision to become catalyst of change in Bangladesh education.

Mr. K. H. Masud Siddiqui, a career civil servant, joined BAC International as Professor in the School of Business in January 2017. After completion of his tenure in the Bangladesh Civil Service (1982-2015) he has retired as Secretary and joined the education arena in the pursuit of his academic excellence. A Masters graduate from the University of Dhaka in Bengali Language Literature. Mr. Siddiqui earned MA degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, England. He further received a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Administration and Management from UK. He was appointed as Secretary of the Ministry of Industries on September 2010 and then appointed as Secretary of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs in 2012. During his long civil service Mr. Siddiqui led Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation as its Chairman. In his around 33 years successful career in civil service he held several important positions in both field administration and in different Ministries. He also worked in the Prime Minister’s Office in the capacity of Director. Mr. Siddiqui joined the Board of Directors of BAT Bangladesh as Independent Director in October 2010 representing Government’s share in the Company and later as the Independent Director as well as the member of Audit Committee. Mr. Siddiqui is also a writer. He has got five publications to his credit, such as ‘LokShadhonarSangskriti’, ‘Tasauf and Other Contexts’, ‘MalgooddyDays’, and ‘BehongoAbolokon’.

Mr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman Bhuiyan is the Head, School of Business and Senior Lecturer at BAC International Study Centre. Apart from his Administrative responsibilities, he is also involved in teaching the modules of the Leeds Trinity University at BAC. Mr. Ashiqur has studied in different prominent educational institutions in the country and abroad. He completed his SSC from Comilla Zilla School and HSC from Notre Dame College. Then he completed his Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka. Apart from these, he obtained his Diploma in Business Management and Marketing from the London Centre of Marketing. Before joining BAC, he was a Lecturer at Presidency University, Dhaka and the IBD Partnership, UK. His area of specialization includes heavily demanding sectors like: Marketing, Human Resource Management and Management.

Rafid Juhayer Siddiquee is a lecturer of BAC business school who has completed his graduation from North South University under School of Business & Economics (SBE)-country’s top graded business school. He completed his HSC from Notre Dame college, Motijheel which is one of the best college of Bangladesh. He has completed his SSC from Ideal School and College, motijheel, Dhaka. He also worked as Teaching Assistant (TA) at Political Science & Sociology department (PSS) in North South University. He completed his internship from NCC Bank limited. He will be awarded with ‘Magna Cum Laude’ as distinction during his convocation due to maintain a high range of CGPA. He was also awarded with government scholarship in his SSC (general category) and HSC (Talent-pool category-Dhaka board merit position 77th ). He was also awarded with 50% Merit based Scholarship in his BBA and MBA program of NSU.
