About the programme:The BA (Hons.) Law award is a long-established under-graduate degree of the Leeds Trinity University, UK. You will also be encouraged to take part in activities such as debating, national and international mooting (a legal debate) and volunteering and court visit. Combined with your legal studies these activities help you to develop a broad range of skills and build your self-confidence.
Some modules will also provide you with the opportunity to develop “soft” skills or employability skills – you will have the opportunity to develop your abilities in interviewing, mediation, in house legal practice, client handling, etc.

Career prospects:After completing this British Law degree many students begin their career as a practising advocate and some students progress to GDL/MA in Law leading to the professional stage of their legal training such as Legal Practice Course (LPC) to become a solicitor or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) to become a Barrister. However, our course is designed to allow students to pursue a careerin a wide range of fields at home and abroad.
As a graduate you may choose the option to work for other providers of legal services and regulatory agencies; non-governmental bodies and international NGOs; the Law Commission; as well as the Civil and criminal service and legal aid service. Graduates often successfully apply for places on general graduate training programmes with property firms, investment banks, and consultancy firms and within the retail sectors.
BA (Hons.) LLB graduate can also join in LLM in Commercial Law programme of Leeds Trinity University at BAC International that is also open for Bangladeshi LLB graduates.

Mooting is a key part of life at BAC International Law School and we believe it is one of the quickest and most effective ways for you to develop the competencies you need to be a successful lawyer. Mooting helps you to master important legal skills, such as research and analysis, whilst also gaining experience of public speaking and argument.
There are also opportunities to provide legal advice to real clients in a range of areas of law organised by BLSU (BAC Law Students’ Union).

a)HSC/A’ Level graduate with Higher National Diploma(HND) in English law (HND in English Law is available at BAC International), or successful completion of 240 credits where 120 credits from Level 4 and 120 credits from Level 5 in any British Law programme ( or even Bangladeshi Law programme/degree) from any UK Colleges or University, and
b)Applicantwhose first language is not English is required to provide the evidence of competence in English.
